I'm Karen Palmer.  I believe that making great images is more than just owning camera equipment and lights. It's about understanding the needs of my clients and having the skills to deliver work that meets those needs.  I'd say the best work is collaborative, requires a vision, and the ability to know how to make that happen.

I am here to support the success of my clients! Using my technical and artistic skills,  I create memorable photographs that showcase the work of creatives. I am honored that my clients trust me to deliver high quality photography for editorials, contests, portfolios, and branding use. 

Before becoming a professional photographer I obtained a degree in electrical engineering from the Missouri School of Science and Technology. I worked several years in the engineering field then decided to take a hiatus to raise my son. During that time I found myself wondering if I could combine my love for creating, design, and photography into a new career. I was fortunate to be able to do so and that has led me to the work you see here.

When I'm not behind a camera you'll most likely find me swimming, gardening, or enjoying time with my family.
